Privacy Policy

What we collect

To run WildLoop we store the account details you give us (name, email), the activities you record (GPS tracks, distance, time, elevation), and the social content you create (reviews, comments, kudos, follows, saved trails). GPS tracks are precise location data, so we treat them carefully.

How we use it

Your data powers the features you use: showing your activities, computing pace/elevation/splits, running the territory-conquest game and leaderboards, and connecting you with other athletes. We don't sell your personal data.

What others can see

You control each activity's visibility: public, followers only, or private. New accounts default to followers only, and you can change that default in Settings. Your email is never shown publicly. Blocking another athlete hides both accounts from each other and removes any follow relationship.

Location data

GPS tracks are recorded only while you're actively recording. Shared routes hide their start and finish by default. Settings also lets you define a protected location and radius; capture runs that expose that zone will save as activities without creating territory. Other athletes receive coarse territory outlines unless you opt in to precise outlines.

Your choices

You can edit or delete activities, export your own route as GPX, update location controls, block athletes, and report activities or profiles. To delete your account entirely, contact us and we'll remove your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
